DBI is a subsidiary of the DBI Group, and following our restructuring, our core services now focus on advanced telecommunications infrastructure—specifically fibre, cabling, and backup power solutions.

We are experts in designing and deploying independent, neutral telecommunications infrastructure. Our services cater to ISPs, property owners, developers, and major data centre providers. DBI champions true Open Access and delivers tailored digital strategies in collaboration with major networks and service providers.

Tichaona Mashiri

Founder & CEO

Tichaona Mashiri is a certified ISO 27001 auditor, Cisco engineer, and ICT strategist with strong expertise in enterprise networks, wireless systems, and digital infrastructure. Founder of DBI, he leads with innovation and vision.

Vusi Mjacu

Operations Director

Vusi Mjacu has 35+ years of telecom experience, from Telkom technician to leading fibre rollout projects in the Eastern Cape. He co-founded Isigidi Trading and drives DBI’s operational excellence and field delivery.

Christopher Flashman

Regional Operations Manager

Christopher Flashman brings 25+ years in fibre and data infrastructure, having led projects for Dimension Data and FiberUp. He specializes in ISP/OSP planning, data centres, and network resilience.

Ignatius Kamunda

Solutions Architect & Cyber Security

Ignatius Kamunda is a cyber security and telecommunications solutions architect with expertise in Cisco/Fortinet security, ISO27001 auditing, and designing secure ISP networks.
